Natural deodorant vs. antiperspirant & kabuki brush vs. powder brush
About a month ago I was watching one of my favorite youtubers (The Sassi Wench), and she was showing her travel makeup and jewelry (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzfdc9azt5Q). She mentioned that she was trying out some products from a natural skin care company called
Mbeze (http://www.mbeze.com/). She was trying out their natural deodorant with a scent called Ife, and she found it actually kept the skin dry and smelled amazing. I was very interested in this because antiperspirants darken the skin under my arms and in general are not good for the skin. I have tried other natural deodorants but they don’t keep me dry or smelling nice all day. However, after trying the Ife scent deodorant from Mbeze I am hooked!! I have been using this deodorant for a week and it keeps my as dry as my antiperspirant and smells better than my antiperspirant. My only complaint is that it is a bit small for its’ price of $12. But, if you are looking for a natural deodorant, I highly recommend Mbeze! They also give you a sample and a 10% off discount code for your next shipment. I received a sample of perfume with my order, and their perfumes smell amazing.
Last week I popped over to Ross to pick up some towels, and found some elf products in the process. I was shocked that Ross sold elf products!! I immediately picked up their mineral powder brush for $3. I have always used a kabuki brush for my mineral makeup, so I was curious to try out their powder brush. The coverage with the kabuki brush is more matte than the powder brush. I personally like to use both, first I use the kabuki to smooth out areas about my eyes and cheeks. Then I use the powder brush all over for a nice healthy glow!
